Many who know us and read the email bulletins may be aware that we’ve had a caravan we named HOPE (House of Prayer Everywhere!), in which we’ve travelled extensively, often combining holidays with prayer journeys or ‘ministry trips’
We have sensed that this season is coming to an end, but before we say goodbye to HOPE (only the caravan!) we felt it would be good to take a prayer tour of the county, and hopefully catch up with some of our praying friends in their own locality, whether we’ve met before or not. Our hope is that we can encourage one another in prayer and testimony of what God is doing and what we hope for across Cumbria.
It would be great to hear from anyone who’d like to meet up with us en-route to share together and pray, even better if you have a prayer group we could meet with, whether in a home, a local café, or a church room somewhere near you.
We’re planning this tour during April, and our provisional itinerary is as follows:
13th-21st April Kendal and the Cartmel and Furness peninsulas
23rd-25th April West Lakes area (south) Millom to Whitehaven
25th-27th April West Lakes area (north) Whitehaven to Silloth, Wigton,
27th-29th April Carlisle & Brampton area
29th-30th April Penrith, Appleby, Kirkby Stephen
Friday, 1st May – Prayer Drive Kirkby Stephen – Sedbergh – Grange over Sands.
If you are a leader and would like us to speak to your congregation or fellowship, contact us and we’d be happy to arrange an opportunity to visit and speak at a one of your regular meetings.
If we’re unable to arrange anything, but you have an encouraging testimony of signs of growth of God’s kingdom near you, please send us a short paragraph that we can publish in future email bulletins.
